We are in need of qualified electricians (single and 3 phase). The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with specific skills and experience within the construction and handyman industry.
Duties include the assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment. Installation of electrical boxes, DB boards, other enclosures, conduits (pipes, tubing, trunking), ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment. Wiring of circuit breakers, transformers and electrical equipment. Adhere to relevant electrical policies and procedures. Domestic and Commercial experience needed.
Qualifications & Exp: Must be a qualified electrician with a valid trade tested certification through accredited institution. An advantage would be to have a wiremans' licence. Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience within this industry.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all power generation and distribution equipment.
- Study and understand electrical schematics.
- Assist in performing and interpreting power calculations, power factor, insulation tests and positive relay tests as required.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment.
Must be an excellent communicator, honest and reliable and ability to work without supervision. Own tools and transport a must.
We pay an hourly rate, overtime rate and weekend rate is extra as well as a contract rate that is calculated according to the job specifications and requirements. Rates commensurate with experience.
