What to expect from us and our Team Members
  1. It is the general acceptance to not pay more than 50% as a deposit and 50% on completion.
  2. The customer pays the suppliers for all stock items as per the invoice furnished to them by us.
  3. The allocated team member’s profile will be emailed to you with all their details as well as a copy of the I.D. and Qualification documents as part of the quote. If in doubt, please contact us to verify.
  4. NEVER pay the Contractor directly at anytime; all payments are handled by Head Office.  Do not issue the Contractor with any other work other than that specified on the quote.
  5. Don't pay the deposit in advance. 1-2 days before for small projects or on the day for to do lists and hourly jobs
  6. Our  Team Members know to never ask for money or advances from the clients and will receive full payment from us on completion of each job.

Our handyman teams are well trained and are up for a challenge.  We offer per hour jobs at R400.00 per hour for small office/household maintenance and repairs, such as:

Electricians

Western Cape, South Africa - 54353
We are expanding throughout the Western Cape and are seeking qualified electricians and assistants to fill contract work as and when they arise.  Must be willing to work after hours and do emergency call outs as and when required.
We are in need of qualified electricians (single and 3 phase).   The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with specific skills and experience within the construction and handyman industry.

Duties include the assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment. Installation of electrical boxes, DB boards, other enclosures, conduits (pipes, tubing, trunking), ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment. Wiring of circuit breakers, transformers and electrical equipment. Adhere to relevant electrical policies and procedures. Domestic and Commercial experience needed.

Qualifications & Exp: Must be a qualified electrician with a valid trade tested certification through accredited institution. An advantage would be to have a wiremans' licence. Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience within this industry.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all power generation and distribution equipment.
  • Study and understand electrical schematics.
  • Assist in performing and interpreting power calculations, power factor, insulation tests and positive relay tests as required.
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment.
Must be an excellent communicator, honest and reliable and ability to work without supervision. Own tools and transport a must.

We pay an hourly rate, overtime rate and weekend rate is extra as well as a contract rate that is calculated according to the job specifications and requirements. Rates commensurate with experience.

Electrician Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  • Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
  • Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Good knowledge of various test equipment.
Electrician Requirements:
  • Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
  • Experience working as an electrician.
  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Electrician degree from a technical college.
  • Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
  • Experience in renewable energy field.

We are expanding throughout the Western Cape and are seeking qualified plumbers and assistants to fill contract work as and when they arise.  Must be willing to work after hours and do emergency call outs as and when required, specifically, installing plumbing systems including measuring, cutting, bending pipe material, and assembling valves, fittings, tubes, and appliances such as sinks. Plumbers will work in a variety of locations, as the nature of the job requires them to visit multiple sites. The work can be both indoors and outdoors depending on the particular project and where the drainage systems are located.
Some of your duties will include:
  • Install and repair pipes and fixtures and open clogged drains.
  • Cut openings in floors and walls to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Utilize appropriate plumbing and shop tools.
